Yahoo Open Social plans to create an open social network where networks can exchange there
applications and such things with each other. It’s more for the users then
anything and it should allow some great flexibility amongst the few social
networks that have gone live with this open social plan. As of now open social
isn’t nearly as great as it’s been hyped up to me and frankly so far it doesn’t
offer many advantages for the developers. MySpace has said that better apps will
be on the way soon to the open social network but there has been no sight of
that yet. As of now there are only games and such things on the network which
most developers don’t find worth making. Microsoft hasn’t jumped onto the open
social train and don’t plan to as they have there own network of open social
